Introduction

This document outlines the whole process of setting up a Qendercore device and any devices connected to it. It can be used as a refresher document for the whole procedure, with links referring to smaller documents that outline the specifics of each part. 

See Qendercore Setup Manual for the most up to date version of any Qendercore Setup Procedures. This document is intended as a short outline of the overall Setup procedure. 

Required Equipment

• DONSTR001 - Qendercore Inverter Hub OR
• DONSTR002 - Qendercore Mini Hub
• DONSTR003 - Qendercore DIN Hub
• Connected to a compatible device:
  • Soltaro Inverter
  • Soltaro Air Conditioner
  • LITIOT Smart Meter

Instructions

1. First, Create a Qendercore Account.
2. Install the Qendercore device in question, along with the compatible device that it will be connected to.
3. Connect the Qendercore device to the internet using Ethernet (Inverter Hub Only), WiFi or WPS. 
4. Link the Qendercore Device to the Owner Account. Installer accounts will not be able to Take Ownership of any devices. This linkage can be done by QR Code, Hub ID or Setup Mode.
5. Request access to the Qendercore Device from subsequent accounts (Installer, VPP, other household members etc). The owner will then be able to approve/reject these access requests from the Active Notifications section of their Qendercore app/ web client. These access requests can be created by QR Code, Hub ID or Setup Mode.
