Introduction

Once your Qendercore Hub is connected to the internet and communicating with the Qendercore servers, you will need to link the device/s to your account. This document will run you through this procedure using the QR code of the Qendercore Device. On some devices, the QR code may be physically printed on the device, but it can be accessed via a smart device if it is not. Please make sure that you have connected the Qendercore device to the internet using either Ethernet, WiFi or WPS. 

See Qendercore Setup Manual for the most up to date version of any Qendercore Setup Procedures. This document is intended as a short outline of one of the most common parts of the overall Setup process. 

Required Equipment

• DONSTR002 - Qendercore Mini Hub
• DONSTR003 - Qendercore DIN Hub
• Connected to a compatible device:
  • Soltaro Inverter
  • Soltaro Air Conditioner
  • LITIOT Smart Meter

Instructions

If the QR Code for the Qendercore device is visible, you can skip the first 5 steps and skip straight to QR Code Visible. If the QR Code is not visible, please follow the below steps to show the QR code, you will need 2 smart devices (1 to display the code, 1 to scan the code). 

QR Code not Visible

1. On your Qendercore Device, double click the Interactive Button to put it into Setup Mode. This will be indicated by the GREEN MODE LED starting to slow flash. 
   1. DONSTR001- Button is located just above the POWER LED. 
   2. DONSTR002- Button is located in the centre of the hub. 
2. Once in Setup Mode, triple click the Interactive Button to activate the Qendercore WiFi AP. This will be indicated by the GREEN MODE LED starting to fast flash. 
3. On your computer or smart device, open your WiFi settings and connect to the WiFi network named "Qendercore". When prompted for a password, input "p1234567". You should be connected to the Qendercore AP, with No Internet.
   
   1. On smart devices with mobile data, it is recommended to switch off mobile data from this point onwards. Airplane mode may be suitable for this. 
4. Once connected, use your preferred Web Browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc), and navigate to http://qendercore.local OR 192.168.89.89. You will be directed to the page below:
   
5. Click on Continue, you will be directed to the page below, from here you can follow the steps from QR Code Visible:
   

QR Code Visible - Qendercore App

You are able to use the Qendercore App to link the device to your account instantly. 

1. Login to the Qendercore App on your phone. (Android) (Apple) (Create a Qendercore Account).  
2. Tap on the Account button in the top right.
   
3. Tap on Link Qore...
   
4. Use the inbuilt QR Code Reader to scan the QR Code on screen/printed on the Hub. This will prompt you to either "Take Ownership" or "Request Access". Ownership should be taken by the End User of the device, who will then be able to approve any subsequent requests for access (ie. from installers, VPP program's, other house members).

QR Code Visible - Generic Scanner

If you do not have the Qendercore app, or prefer not to use it, you are able to link the device by scanning the QR code with any generic QR Code scanner. 

1. Use the QR Code Scanner to scan the QR code on screen/printed on the device. 
2. Go to the specified URL address (By tapping on the notification on a phone, or copying the address to any web browser). 
3. This URL will prompt you to login to your Qendercore account, please login. (Create a Qendercore Account)
4. Once you login, you will be prompted to either "Take Ownership" or "Request Access". Ownership should be taken by the End User of the device, who will then be able to approve any subsequent requests for access (ie. from installers, VPP program's, other house members).
