Introduction
When connecting an inverter to a Qendercore Hub, you will be able to view and change the inverter settings/measurements via a local connection. The steps below outline this procedure and how it can be applied for updating settings where necessary.
See Qendercore Setup Manual for the most up to date version of any Qendercore Setup Procedures. This document is intended as a short outline of one of the most common parts of the overall Setup process.
Required Equipment
- DONSTR001 - Qendercore Hub
- Connected to a compatible inverter
Instructions
- On your Qendercore Device, double click the Interactive Button to put it into Setup Mode. This will be indicated by the GREEN MODE LED starting to slow flash.
- DONSTR001- Button is located just above the POWER LED.
- Once in Setup Mode, triple click the Interactive Button to activate the Qendercore WiFi AP. This will be indicated by the GREEN MODE LED starting to fast flash.
- On your computer or smart device, open your WiFi settings and connect to the WiFi network named "Qendercore". When prompted for a password, input "p1234567". You should be connected to the Qendercore AP, with No Internet.
- On smart devices with mobile data, it is recommended to switch off mobile data from this point onwards. Airplane mode may be suitable for this.
- Once connected, use your preferred Web Browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc), and navigate to http://qendercore.local OR 192.168.89.89. You will be directed to the Network Configuration page below:
- From this page, click on the Settings button in the top right of the screen
- You will be prompted to sign in. Leave the Username blank, and input "1111" into the password section, then press "Sign In".
- Once you have done this, you will be at the Maintenance Index for the inverter your Qendercore Hub is connected to. From here, you should be able to access measurements, settings, operations and faults for the inverter. Use the onscreen options to navigate through these screens as necessary.
- When changing settings, there will be 2 options for updating:
- Batch Writing - Option will be available where possible. Updates this batch in one operation, and saves the new parameters. Will likely trigger an inverter soft restart. Click on "Write Batch" and confirm the changes to apply.
- Single Writing - Option will be available where Batch Writing is not available. . Click on the pencil symbol after updating the paramater to update the parameter. Requires the "Save Parameters" Operation to be done after updating for the parameters to be saved.
